All About Earn Coin Pool

Living in the Chicago suburbs, and father of two preteen boys, Rich is a busy guy. He and the boys are black belts in Tae Kwon Do. He is also the assistant coach of their volleyball team and is on the board of the Angel Tracks charity, which helps pay for the cancer treatment of pets when the owners can't afford it- using board certified veterinarians to review all requests for assistance. In his spare time Rich likes to do woodworking to relax. He even made a cutting board for our very own Chef Theo of Cardano Chef Pool.

Rich, who has a background in design and digital marketing runs Earn Coin Pool with his brother who has a background in system administration. While Rich first became interested in cryptocurrency in 2016, life got in the way for a bit and he reconnected in 2021. He quickly became fascinated with the Cardano community and by September 2021, Earn Coin Pool was up and running. Currently ECP is allowing delegators to choose which charity they donate to when blocks are minted.
Rich has engaged with the technical side of Cardano as well. He obtained a Haskell certificate from Glasgow University and participated in the second cohort of Plutus Pioneers which is a fast paced, six-week course that offers developers the core principles of coding in Plutus and Haskell. This allowed him to learn a lot and, perhaps more importantly, make some great friends and long-term connections within the ecosystem. More recently he has become involved with the xSPO Alliance where he enjoys learning new things, working with other pools on a variety of projects and participating in their weekly calls. He is also involved with the Freeloaderz project. Freeloaderz is a coalition of Cardano Stake Pools offering url api access to their relay servers to help transaction speed by opening ports to user wallets.

Rich’s dedication to the Cardano community and his faith in its future is easy to see even in a brief conversation. Many people profess that they like to help others, but Rich acts on that philosophy every day in his work with the xSPO Alliance, his efforts to promote other SPOs and his eagerness to talk about Cardano’s mission and potential. He works every day to support other stake pool operators because he believes that individual success enriches the community as a whole. We are lucky to have him in this community and, if you are looking for a stake pool that really believes in the mission and vision of Cardano, this is a wonderful choice.
